Writing Week 1 Term 2

Hello this week for writing we have been doing a plot on Hansel and Gretel and we had to use some words to describe the house and we had to use some different words to describe.

Eerie

Scary 

Evil

Plot 1

As I am entering The forest

A delicate coconut chocolate fragrance getting pushed by the wind to the center of my nose.

As I looked around I froze to the sight of the forest in dark and horror.The leaves in the forest are as crunchy as chips. The wind paused for a moment and started again. As I see a trail it leads to a Sugar coated house, I don’t believe my eyes. Suddenly the wind started to pick up like I wasn’t supposed to be there. As I move away from the house it calms down. And well I’m in a bush. I'm looking at the house to see how tall and crunchy the chimney looks and the door made out of sweet foods. The sun is going down and the only light is coming from the window inside the house. I needed to get to that house to see what's going on there so  I approached the house and then the wind started to pick up again so I knew I wasn’t supposed to be there. I smell the chocolate fragrance again that is coming from the crunchy chewy chimney. The door randomly slammed open and out walks a woman The lady looks old.

Reading Week 1 Term 3

Hello this week for reading We had to read a series of books and then we had to make a drawing and put a sentence on the drawing from the books that we read and we used the fantastics and the where some of the senses kinda and then we had to do 1 sentence for each.

Maths Week 1 Term 2

Hello this week for Maths we have been doing problem solving and it was based on Area and Perimeter and we had 2 questions to choose from and we got buddied up with our math buddy and then we had to do the Problem that we chose together.

Hello This week we have been trying to Identify and sort 2D and 3D shapes into classes. Define the properties of the shapes and justify the decisions made. And we also had to fill out this chart by figuring out what shape they were and if they platonic or not and we also had to say how many edges the shapes had.

Hello this week we have been in our home bases doing workshops and what we had to do is that we had to read a book, I read James and the Giant Peach and then we had to find a sentence and then we had to do a drawing about a sentence and we had to explain through the image.

Hello this week for reading we have been reading a book called Once A Panther and it is based on how a Grandpa was a polynesian and he was protesting in a riot for racism.

Hello this week we have been doing rounding and compensating and then we had to make a poster about what we learnt and we had to have 6 examples.
