Writing Poverty

Hello this week we have been choosing a goal for writing and one of those goals were based on poverty and we are nearly at the point where we have to write speeches and I chose to choose the goal on poverty.

Do you see that number that is 7 hundred and 10 and that is the income of a place in west Africa this is the poorest place in 2020 there is 4.8 million people and $710 dollars is final income for the year.

What is going to happen if the world loses all its money?

What if we all went homeless?

What if people can’t afford to pay their kids education? 

Reading Week 1 Term 3

Hello this week for reading We had to read a series of books and then we had to make a drawing and put a sentence on the drawing from the books that we read and we used the fantastics and the where some of the senses kinda and then we had to do 1 sentence for each.

Communication blog

Hey bloggies and welcome to my blog we are talking about what we did good and we communicated well by listening to each others ideas and what they had to say but sometimes we didn't communicate well because sometimes we would just leave our group and let 2 people do the work well the others go talk to their friends. We worked also by deciding the game we wanted to make for the fair and we talked added obstacles to our game. We also didn't work sometimes that well because we would sometimes argue over what game we should play.

We were good at naming what we needed for our game and looking at the prices of the things that we needed to buy. We didn't always work well because we would go out for the games and just leaving our group to do most of the work.

PBL What we did good/bad

For the past 2 weeks we have been starting to make games that will be played in the kidzone at our school fair. What have we done well? we have worked well by putting all of our ideas into 1 and deciding what game that we want to make and we decided to make a sponge race. What else did we do good? we did good making the wooden planks with making them and getting to painting together we split in to 2 and we had 2 planks that we had to paint so we split and made and painted them different colours. We also did do good thinking about what colours we wanted to pain the beams and what patterns and how to play the game.

What did we do not as good?
we didn't really work well together when were listening to others ideas we would talk over them. We could of improved on the ideas that we had to make the game our game wasn't as fun without the beam but we didn't have any obstacles for the course/race so it would be boring to play. We also didn't work as well talking we were just writing in our chromebooks and we didn't talk about who was buying things.


What Collaboration strengths do I bring to a team? I bring some good ideas and I like lots of things and I am flexible to other ideas.

Hello this week we have been doing measurement in maths and our task was to measure the netball court and see how much metres the court was and we had to measure others like the turf

So this week for PBL we have made Posters and Business cards to give to the people that come to see our project and that was just for fun because they weren't allowed to take them home because we need them back at the end so then we can keep them so what we put on the cards and stuff is the name of the the product and our names and a fake phone number.

Future Narritive

Hello today we have been writing a narrative about the future and we got to choose how we wrote it and you could even do about a movie that you have watched or about a game that you have played.
So here is my Narrative.

Chapter 1. The start of the 1st wave

“What time do I have to wake up”My alarm is broken and my phone is flat and I can’t find my charger. WHAT AM I GOING TO DO.I woke up and it was 4 hours until work and I was relieved with how much time left until I had to go to the briefing because it is time to go to the nether and then we have to get our amour and weapons and we are going to collect nether rack and quartz and kill all the qhasts and zombie pigmen and the wither skeletons and then we will go and put back all the stuff we collected but it could go wrong we could all die to the ghast or a zombie pigmen army and they could all get mad and go right at us and kill us there is not going to be lots of us out there in the nether. It is 4 hours later and I have just got to briefing and we are getting told some of the mission and after we are going to suit up and get ready to go to the nether. So we are just about to go through the portal and then the mission will have started and then we should hopefully only have to be there for 2 hours or 5 hours at the max. We have just arrived in the nether and we are mining some of the nether rack and then we are going to mine some of the quartz and then we are going to look for some ghasts and zombie pigmen and then that should be our job done for the day.

Chapter 2 Mining time for the team

It is time to look for all the quartz but we are scared if we full into the lava cause we will obviously die and then we have to respawn in our house and then we can’t go back until next week and that is quite a long way away but I can probably wait that long because it will give me some time to think. So we have just finished up on our day but the reason why I haven’t told you my name because it is a secret mission and name we aren’t allowed to tell anyone our name beside family and anyone that gets told there name has to be removed and slain from the world and then you will not be able to join the world again so you will lose all of your experience in the world and then you will lose all of your weapons and you will not be able to join the army anymore even if you come back on a new account you still wouldn’t be let into the world because of the owner aka the general of the world and the army.

Chapter 3 The 3rd wave 

It is the 3rd day into the nether and we are going strong but we are losing our supply of water and food we will only last 1 more day and then we could most likely dead and nobody will remember any of the lost souls they would be like a lost chip they just forget about them and leave and then we just found out that water buckets don’t work in the nether because of the heat and the lava that is flowing around the nether. We all have been split into groups of 2 but someone took on the challenge of going by them self we all search for supplies but we all mainly look for the nether portal to go back to the world to get food and water and to see our families and pets but we have been looking for about 3 hours and still haven’t found the portal back to the normal world. But the

next day and we have no idea where any of the other teams are we are losing signal to the radios and then what makes it worse is that the fact that we lost all food and water and we getting dehydrated and hungry but then in the corner of my eye I see a purple and black portal and then I as we get closer it is almost certain that it is the nether portal to get back so we went through the portal and then we get back to our house and we get lots of water and food and then we both forgot about the other team and we get supplies and we go back in to look for them because we live by a code and we never leave a man/woman behind. But then we get a sudden feeling in our heads and that feeling was that we forgot about the other teams and that we had to go back for them so we took on the mission to go get brook squad and gerry squad and we had to look around the whole nether to find them but we couldn’t quite find them but then we found the base where all of the mobs stay and spawn and that they had to be trapped at the base and that it would be quite dangerous and that we are going to have to do it in stealth we can’t get seen by the guards or else we wouldn’t get back to the normal world to see their parents and family we couldn’t get seen by the guards, So we move and we get to a checkpoint for us we see a massive room that was full of chests, it was a storage room for the mobs at the base and then the next room there was a bed room and that bed room looked odd because there was no bed in the room but there was a sink and a wardrobe with a sword in it but it was only a gold one but they break really easily and they are a waste of gold. We have advanced 50 feet and we see a room with chatter and lights and we see brook squad and Gerry squad and we see a ghast and wither skeleton and then we sneak around the box and then get behind the generator and then untie the squads and let them go when they are not paying attention and then we sneak out of the base and we find the nether portal and we go home and then we get a surprise welcome from the general and he awards us the medal of extreme honour and we become a Sgt of our platoon and the rest is history.

Stanford University

For the past 2 terms we have being doing a course for Stanford university and it was to do with our mindset. So what you have to do on the course is you watch a video and then you memorise the main points in the video and then you click next and then you write what the questions say and you do that for every task and it also teaches you different ways of maths and it really gets your mind thinking about the questions.

We had to finish the course with all the time we were given and then we got the opportunity to apply for the university and then after the course and then we got to see the results and then after 20 minutes we got the results to see if we were done the course and then we got to see if we got in as the time went by I hadn't got the results but everyone else got their's.

You can show Integrity by helping someone and not asking for a reward and always helping other people and not wanting anything from anyone and show others how to do the same.
