Reading create task

So this week in reading we have been reading a book called Square eyes and we read this book because it is based on which is based in the future. and what we had to do was we had to make a drawing on our Chromebooks with 11 boxes and 3 prediction boxes we had read the first page and then we had to predict what the the next page is about and then we read the next page and see if our prediction was right or wrong and then in the other 8 boxes we had to summarise the story.

Term 3 PBL

             Term 3 PBL 

Hi there and welcome back to my wonderful blog for the start of this term. we have got a new driving question for this term and that question is What will the future ask of us?. so what it means is that like what skill sets can't be taken by robots and they can't replace those skill sets. And there is another question for PBL it is what makes us different than a robot. I think we are different in so many way like we have a mind and we feel emotions unlike robots.

I think robots also can't really play some of the sports that can play and if they did play the sports that we played it wouldn't be original. If robots took over the sports community. But if they took the world by storm, humans and stuff wouldn't really have a purpose. Imagine the robots taking Race car driving and they only used self-driving cars. They would be able to make the car go really fast and it would be quite safe to drive if the cars had awareness.

So this term we are allowed to a podcast, Ted talk, Poetry slam or a drama and we get to do on discrimination we can do in any of those forms.
And we have to share at the end of the term either recorded or live.
 we can do it on Racism, Sexism, Able sim and other types of discrimination and I reckon it will be fun to do.

Teacher strike

On a Wednesday teachers went on strike because they want more time with students because there are always relievers in our hub and they don't get paid enough money. in Christchurch teachers walked down the street in town with signs saying we need more money and we need more time with 

the student because they always go on courses and never get to spend time with students .

They don't and they are always on release and don't get enough time as a teacher.

He didn’t see very much of his dad because he was involved in lots of bad stuff

James harden had to live his mother in Compton,California his mum wasn’t strict on him she let make his own mistakes but she was always there for Him. James’s mum new that compton wasn’t safe place for James so he sent him to artesia high school Nearby Lakewood,California and his mother didn’t know that the high school she sent him to was a basketball powerhouse.

When we was a junior in highschool he was his team’s leader and schools around the country but he chose to go to Arizona State high school.After 2 years of college he was finally drafted to the NBA by the Oklahoma city thunder and then in 2012 James harden signed a contract to go to the Houston Rockets he has been there ever since.

My favourite character and why: My favorite was character was James harden because he was the main character in the story and it was the perfect fit for him.
