Fitness circuit

So this week in kaupeka we have been making a fitness circuit with a partner and we got to timetable a fitness in 6 workshops and then we got to choose from other peoples circuits as well as our own ones and Me and y partner mad a basketball circuit were you dribble a basketball up court and then you take a shot in each hoop and if you miss that is 5 push ups and then if you made it you kinda got a get out of jail free card and that you didn't have to do anything and you had to save up all of your push ups till the end of the session and then you had to do the push ups and you are allowed to have a break in between. If you didn't do all of the push ups you had to do them the next day.

PBL Product

Hi this week we have been making a product that is going to be shared to our community and family and then we will be able to share to the kids at our school. We got 10 weeks to make this product, Plan it and then we had to film and create and then we make it to share.

So Me and my partner who is called Logan and then we went onto filming and then we made a robot that could play sports and that it had 3 modes Easy, Medium, Hard and that it plays good offence and good defence and That when it is on hard mode that is unstoppable if you are just starting to play but if you put it on easy it is very easy to play against and that it will be easily stopped and that nobody can really lose to it. But when it is on medium it is mixed between easy and hard so it can get hard but it can be easy.

So what our PBL question was this term was what will the future ask of us. So what we mean by this question is that like what jobs will get taken over by robots or what jobs will not be taken over by robots.

Stanford University

For the past 2 terms we have being doing a course for Stanford university and it was to do with our mindset. So what you have to do on the course is you watch a video and then you memorise the main points in the video and then you click next and then you write what the questions say and you do that for every task and it also teaches you different ways of maths and it really gets your mind thinking about the questions.

We had to finish the course with all the time we were given and then we got the opportunity to apply for the university and then after the course and then we got to see the results and then after 20 minutes we got the results to see if we were done the course and then we got to see if we got in as the time went by I hadn't got the results but everyone else got their's.

Science

So in the kaupeka hub this week we have been doing science and that we got to rotate around different teachers and do science and we had to chose one of the 4 science objects and I have chose heart rate and in heart rate we had to do fitness activities like doing star jumps for 1 minute and the sprint on the spot for 30 seconds and then we had to feel our pulse in the neck or just under your jawbone and then we had to times what we had by 6 and then we would have a answer to the question and then we had to fill out a doc which was called the scientific method and then we got to fill out the doc and then we could be finished

Winter sports

Good morning, Good evening, Good night today I am writing a blog about This terms winter sport that we played at hagley park. We all got the decision to what sport we wanted to trial for I decided to trial for Rugby at that was a very popular choice and the trial went on a rainy day were everybody got really cold and if you got injured it would be super cold on the wound, so as the trial went on they kept on getting rid of people because they had already shown their potential in the team so they could get changed and then there was just year 7's and we were put into teams and then we battled it out and we put in some good tackles and some good skills and that would determine if we made the team and then we finished the trial and we got the teams and I was so worried that I wouldn't make a team and then I made the team and I was so happy that I made the team. So the season has started and the rugby team is in good  form and they are healthy so we start the season off with a good win and then the next we played some big boys and they weren't so fast and that we could just feed our wingers and run on the outside and that's what won us the game and then the next game we played a team with some people that weren't that big compared to us and that they were scared to play against us and that they did not want to play us but then as the season went buy the team the team that was scared of us were in the game for 3rd and 4th and they won and then we got into the finals and that was very good to find out that we made and that it was going to be a good match and the lose of two of our star players we figured that we could do this and that we would play for them and win so as the game went buy it was the second half and we were in front by a big margin and then the second half started and they started to score tries and tries but we didn't let the get them to easy so we kept on giving them our all and that got us the good win over the team that made it to the finals.

PBL Planning For term 3

Hello this term we have been writing down some planning for our PBL, So we got the decide if we wanted to be in a group or in a pair I chose to be in a pair and I am with Logan and our PBL is based on the future and we have to do something that is based on the future and me and Logan are making a robot that can play basketball and we are going to be making skit/ad that is going to be funny so what we have done was we made a skit that is based on the future and that this robot will be unstoppable and that there is no match for the robot and that the robot can shoot from anywhere on the court and not miss the hoop no matter where the hoop is and how small it is it can do anything and that skit was just going to be an ad and a skit combined into one. So that is what we have been doing for this term and that is what have made.

DLO/Digital learning object

Hello today I am going to be sharing with you my Reading slides that we have been working on for the last 5 weeks. So what we had to do on the slides was we had to write a quick paragraph about the story and it could be from any where in the book so I chose the part where their was a very angry male and he was looking for a kid and the friend could feel the vibe that some one was coming after the kid so he told him to get out of there and to get his bike and go back to to the school and then go home so he ran out of the mall and then he got the bike and then he went to school and saw that there was like 3-4 police cars outside their school because of Mr Dombroski who was a war criminal and then he went home and then saw a speeding black SUV and then nearly gets hit by the car and he hits a fence and his head gets hurt and he starts bleeding from the head. Next thing we had to do was a google drawing of a scene in the book where we found was interesting so I chose the part where the Black SUV was chasing the kid.

Next task was to do a character study and you had to choose a character so I chose the kids friend because he is one of the main characters and he is the one that is most wanted because he is Harry friend and they want him because they are taking out his best friends so that he could join Harry in Heaven.
