This term we started Winter sport on a Thursday. Before the term started and you had to trial for a team that you wanted in to the rugby team probably was the hardest because there is only one team I play for the rugby team and we go to south hagley to compete against other schools in 10 aside game of rugby it started off as rapid rugby were there is no scrums or line outs but now we play with them and it is so much funner with them so the rugby team enjoys it.
This week on Tuesday we went to a tournament and we came 1st overall we didn't lose but there was only 2 teams besides us but then at the end we played a massive game together we made different teams mixed. there was lots sportsmanship shown and it was just fun and good day.

PBL Blog Post
Hello today I am going to be talking about our PBL this term I hope you enjoy.
So this term we have had the choice to do a Podcast, Talk, Poetry slam or Drama you could either in a pair or by yourself I chose to do it Luca and did in a Podcast and the topic had to be on types/forms of discrimination and we chose to do it on elitism because it is not a very popular topic and we knew not very many people know what it is. We wanted to change everyone point of view and we hope to stop all types of discrimination we can't do it by our self we all have to do our part.
Do you want to stop Discrimination?
Are you willing to do your part?

Blog post about our reading task
Good morning, good evening and good night. Ladies and gentleman, boys and girls, the moment we have all been waiting for. May I present my reading task.
For Reading this week we have been reading poems and we have been trying to learn about visualising using all of our senses through these 2 poems.
Here are these 2 poems

Nature's Way
Upon a nice mid-spring day,
Let's take a look at Nature's way.
Breathe the scent of nice fresh air,
Feel the breeze within your hair.
The grass will poke between your toes,
Smell the flowers with your nose.
Clouds form shapes within the skies,
And light will glisten from your eyes.
Hear the buzzing of the bees,
Climb the tallest willow trees.
Look across the meadow way,
And you shall see a young deer play.
Pick the daisies as they grow,
Watch a gentle cold stream flow.
Know the sounds of water splash,
Catch its glimmer in a flash.
When altogether all seems sound,
Lay yourself upon the ground.
Take a moment to inhale,
And listen to Nature tell her tale...
Now it is your turn - Annotate this poem with what senses you are visualising with as you read.
The winter evening settles down
With smell of steaks in passageways.
Six o'clock.
The burnt-out ends of smoky days.
And now a gusty shower wraps
The grimy scraps
Of withered leaves about your feet
And newspapers from vacant lots;
The showers beat
On broken blinds and chimney-pots,
And at the corner of the street
A lonely cab-horse steams and stamps.
And then the lighting of the lamps.
