Maths DLO

Hello This week we have been trying to Identify and sort 2D and 3D shapes into classes. Define the properties of the shapes and justify the decisions made. And we also had to fill out this chart by figuring out what shape they were and if they platonic or not and we also had to say how many edges the shapes had.

Reading DLO

Hello this week we have been in our home bases doing workshops and what we had to do is that we had to read a book, I read James and the Giant Peach and then we had to find a sentence and then we had to do a drawing about a sentence and we had to explain through the image.

Hello this week for reading we have been reading a book called Once A Panther and it is based on how a Grandpa was a polynesian and he was protesting in a riot for racism.

Maths DLO

Hello this week we have been doing rounding and compensating and then we had to make a poster about what we learnt and we had to have 6 examples.

Writing DLO

Hello this week we have been focusing on using a variety of sentence structures ,beginnings  and lengths to make effect. So we had to fill out a template from the Narrative that we wrote a couple weeks ago and then we had to write if they were a complex, compound or simple sentences and then we had to fill it out.

Reading DLO

Hello this week for reading we have been reading some chapters from Harry Potter and we had to make a poster about a scene in the book and we have been taught all of our senses.

Maths DLO

Hello this week for maths we have been doing Place value and we have been doing a poster on the place value that we have been doing in the workshops.

Writing DLO

Hello this week for writing we have been looking at complex sentences and we got to be in a group and write a script for a play that includes complex sentences and we got to share it to the class in the workshop and we did one on a scrap.

Hello this week we have been doing a narritive so we got a planning sheet at the start of the week and for the week we have been writing them and minumin that the story has to be is a full page and we have a good story and that is what we have been doing for the week.

Reading DLO

This week for reading we got the chance to choose out of a bunch of ideas on what we wanted to do for reading and I chose to do a Book cover and a Wanted Poster.
