Team building

Welcome to my first blog of this term.  In the Tumu hub we have been doing team building, which is learning to work with each other.  We each had to go to all the Tumu teachers like Miss Dungey, Miss Kearsley, Miss Brittenden and Mrs Roach they each had something planned like Miss Kearsley had building a stretcher using newspaper,1 metre of tape, and string. You had to build a stretcher that can hold a bag of books that weighs 5 kg's and a cup of water all of the people in Miss Kearsley's class made it without it breaking in half some people's almost snapped but didn't it was a near break.

Miss Dungey did making a chain using paper and tape the challenge was to make the longest chain using the materials that you got given by the teacher and it was all about teamwork lots people made very long chains .

Mrs Roach did cup stacking the challenge was to stack the cups without touching it with your hands or  clothes. You had to stack it using string and a rubber band you had stack them a quick as you can lots of people finished in less then a minute!

Miss Brittenden did she did making the highest tower using dry pasta straws and marshmallows and had to be free standing it was easier to use a square on the bottom because it would be easier to make the tower freestanding lots of towers fell over and broke into pieces at the they measured how tall it is.

My favourite was Mrs roach cup stacking because it was very challenging because your not using your hands is challenging
